It looks like i read 11 from the 1st 100 and 7 from the 2nd 100. I own a few and have placed a hold on another. I’m going to try and read them all:))

Hey Mark, I just counted and was horrified to discover that I'd only read 29 books from Horror: The 100 Best Books, although a couple of them like The Painted Bird, Who Made Stevie Crye? and The Land of Laughs I read solely because the essays about them. I read 23 books from Horror: Another 100 Best Books which was a little more than I expected. This just goes to show me that I have much more reading to do. Its not enough to read just the new stuff. I need a better grounding in the classics. --Greg

Lovecraft’s review of Chambers’ King in Yellow is a classic. The Greatest Horror Writer Ever (well, title is contested…) says someone else’s work is damn fine horror. Should make everyone sit up and pay attention!
